In 2004 we lost a very dear friend and then in 2007 we lost his son…within that same year we lost yet another …this ride was started to help with the sadness that surrounded the large group of friends so deeply affected. We RIDE, remembering all the great times, the past rides, group trips, the uncontrollable laughter, canoeing, camping, water volleyball, hay rides, card club, the love and caring that was always a part of that fun!
Whether on a bike, in a car or truck this RIDE has been scheduled to be one of the first of the season and as we all know with Mother Nature it is hit or miss with the weather. We RIDE rain or shine……..
The start will be in Pecatonica and go in a different direction each year. It will be led by an individual/couple that accepts the honor of leading……….
“ROAD CAPTAINS”.
Each year there is a poster which is created with the pictures of those family and friends that have gone on before us.
